Below you will find some further information about the dietetic consulting services I can offer - this is not an exhaustive list so please do get in touch to discuss your needs further should you wish to. Consultations are available across the UK via video chat. I do offer local face-to-face consultations.

A 15 minute initial telephone or video call assessment to discuss your needs can be provided free of charge if you need to discuss your health needs before booking an appointment. It also will give you an opportunity to find out a bit more about how I work, how I may be able to help you and to ask any other questions.

All of your personal information will be safeguarded in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.

Financial struggle

If you’re in financial difficulties but need my consultation, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am happy to discuss the possibility for you to pay in monthly instalments.

Initial consultation £ 125

Your initial consultation is a one-off session lasting 45-60 minutes. During our first consultation we will chat about your nutritional problem. I will assess your current food and beverage intake, changes in appetite and factors that may impact intake. Then I will take your anthropometric measurements (height, body weight, waist circumference), will calculate your BMI (body mass index) and BMR (estimated requirements for energy). If needed we will look at your medical history, test results and current medication. We will discuss your goals/ needs and will set realistic expectations. Then we will talk about what foods you usually buy and what changes can be made. We will finalise the session with a tailored dietetic strategy relevant to the issues we’ve discussed. Will also follow up your initial consultation by email or post as preferred, with relevant written resources and a letter summarising my

recommendations. Suitable for general advice that may not need any follow ups.

Individual Follow-Up session £95

A single 45-minute follow up session. Depending on the nature and requirements of the case some individuals choose to return for subsequent consultations. If I feel you would benefit from one or more follow-up appointments, I will advise accordingly so you are able to make an informed decision without obligation at the earliest opportunity. Follow-up appointments normally begin 2 to 3 weeks after your initial consultation and each meeting will last up to 45 minutes. This meeting will allow us to look at your progress putting my guidance into action, and also help identify any areas where you may require further assistance. We can then make any adjustments to your dietetic plan as necessary to ensure it remains as effective and relevant as possible. It will be an opportunity for you to raise additional questions or concerns which we can discuss in detail, as well as signpost you to any additional support, guidance or resources you may require. Suitable for a one-off session after an initial consultation.

Wellbeing program £450

A three month program to address your health or weight concerns. An initial up to 60 min consultation and 3 up to 45 min follow up consultations over three months

I understand that because of the complexity of your problem, you might need more sessions than this package can offer you. I will discuss that with you.

IBS package £510

Have you been diagnosed with IBS by your GP? If so, I can take you through the Low FODMAP diet. This will be over five up to 1 hour sessions over six months. This also includes access to Recovery Record app,  support in-between sessions (answering relevant questions, reading your blood test results) and additional information (fact sheets, charts, recommendations).

If you will have not IBS related questions (weight loss, dealing with other health issues), you will have to book additional session with me.

I will take the time to really listen to you and get to the underlying causes of your IBS problem. From there we’ll build a tailored nutrition plan for you, introduce proven strategies and provide ongoing support to help reduce your symptoms and improve your quality of life.

STAGE 1 - this is your initial assessment. After this session you will be asked to record your food and fluid intake for up to 2 weeks. You will also be asked to record your stress levels and physical activity. I use Recovery Record app, but paper version of the diary is also available if that suits you better.

STAGE 2 - education and introduction to Phase 1 of low FODMAP diet = restriction phase (lasting about 2 –4 weeks) plan will be made.

STAGE 3- FODMAP reintroduction (4-6 weeks). We will start reintroducing individual FODMAPs to identify which you tolerate and which trigger symptoms.

STAGE 4 - FODMAP personalisation. We will review your progress, discuss challenges. We will include the FODMAPs that you tolerate back into your regular diet.

STAGE 5 - follow-up session after 3 months.

Eating Disorders or Disordered eating treatment

If you or your loved one has an eating disorder, the most important thing you can do is to seek treatment. The longer someone lives with untreated eating disorder, the more difficult it becomes to change behaviour and more strain is placed on the body. Recovery process can be a long and scary ride, but full recovery is achievable.

I will guide you towards a healthy diet plan that will help you to maintain physical, emotional and psychological health. I will assess your dietary needs and construct a personalised plan that will enable you to achieve your weight goals in a healthy way. I also offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help you change your unhelpful thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I use Recovery Record app where you will be able to log your food and fluid intake, emotions, thoughts and also track your progress.

During Dietetics sessions our work might be to restore healthy weight, to reduce physiological urges to binge, to better understand what nutrition your body needs, to tackle feared or avoided food types, to develop a healthier relationship with exercise and to understand how this will impact on your nutritional needs, to reduce laxative or diuretic use in a healthy way or to challenge and reduce misconceptions about food, nutrition or your body.

A thorough dietetic assessment aims to understand your current clinical status, weight history, dietary intake, eating pattern and beliefs about food. It is vital that each person with an eating disorder or disordered eating is considered as an individual.  Each client will have multiple factors leading to their current difficulties, will have unique nutritional needs, and will need unique guidance on how to normalise their relationship with food. Within an assessment session, clear treatment goals and aims will be identified and a treatment plan advised according to these goals.

  • Initial consultation will last up to 90 minutes and thourough dietetic assessment will be done. Price £125

  • The treatment plan will be agreed. Depending on the nature and complexity of illness we will agree how many sessions you might need. Block of 4 sessions is recommended to start your treatment. One hour session weekly for four weeks - price £70 x 4 = £280

My report about your ongoing treatment, goals and progress is available. Price £35

Recovery record app support weekly - from £10
